Q5. How was your interview experience for the Data Analyst role?
Pranava: The selection process began with an online test focusing on data analyst skills Statistics, SQL, Oracle, and Python.
In the technical interview, I was asked to solve SQL queries, draw insights from tables, and write Python scripts for the same. I also completed a case study and presented a report. Finally, I cleared the HR round successfully.

Q6. Was starting as a fresher after years of academic experience challenging?
Pranava: Yes, initially, I joined as an intern since Data Science was a new field for me. However, within two months, my performance led to a full-time Data Analyst role. It was a bold step to begin fresh after completing a Ph.D., but I believed in learning from the ground up and it paid off. I was even offered a higher salary based on my performance and contributions.
Q7. What advice would you give aspiring Data Science learners?

Q9. What would you say to professionals from non-technical backgrounds?
Pranava: Your past experience is never wasted. For example, I used my academic background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering to apply Data Science in areas like solar forecasting and battery lifecycle prediction. So, your domain knowledge can actually complement your new data skills.
