My learning journey was very positive. The trainers provided proper guidance throughout the course, and the support continued even after course completion. The faculty members were always available to clarify doubts and help us understand concepts effectively. This continuous support played a significant role in building my confidence and technical skills.

I come from a commerce background and completed my B.Com degree. Initially, I did not have a technical background, but I was interested in learning analytical skills and exploring career opportunities in data analytics.

Q5. Which topics or tools interested you the most during your training?

Excel was one of my favorite tools because I already had some familiarity with it. Apart from Excel, I developed a strong interest in SQL and Power BI. Among these, SQL became my strongest area of interest. In fact, my SQL knowledge played an important role in helping me secure my Data Analyst position.

Q6. What steps did you take to improve your skills and prepare for a job?

I focused on continuous learning every day. Along with the course material, I used resources such as YouTube and guidance from faculty members to deepen my understanding. This helped me strengthen essential data analyst skills such as data analysis, SQL, problem-solving, and data visualization. I didn't limit myself to data analytics alone; I also explored Machine Learning and emerging AI technologies.

I strongly believe in improving consistently. Even learning something new every day can make a significant difference over time. During my project and internship phases, I continued practicing, enhancing my data analyst skills, learning new concepts, and preparing for interviews to stay competitive in the job market.

I am proud that I secured the position through my own efforts. I attended multiple interviews, continuously improved my skills, and prepared thoroughly for technical discussions. Persistence and self-learning played a major role in helping me achieve this milestone.

Q8. What type of projects would you recommend for aspiring data analysts?

I highly recommend working on e-commerce-related projects. These projects involve real-world business scenarios and provide valuable experience in analyzing customer behavior, sales trends, and operational performance.

For aspiring professionals who want to work in product-based companies, e-commerce projects can be particularly beneficial. I personally completed an e-commerce project as part of my learning journey and found it extremely valuable.

I completed nine projects and also showcased them through my GitHub portfolio. Building multiple projects helped me gain practical experience and strengthened my understanding of analytics concepts.

Yes. In addition to data analytics, I spent time exploring Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. I also experimented with various AI tools to stay updated with the latest technological developments. Continuous exploration helped me broaden my knowledge and improve my overall skill set.

My advice is simple: trust the learning process and stay consistent. Everyone has their own learning journey, and success comes through continuous effort.
